A simplified time-blocked approach to tasks

Time blocking means breaking your day into durations where you focus on specific, allotted tasks. It works well for those who plan well ahead and consistently. For many of us though, a simplified and more flexible approach of assigning the task to the first half or second half of the day works better.
Use our Create task feature to add tasks, include a category (Home, Work, Self or Other), Importance level (Very, Somewhat or Not) for the task and an approximate completion time (due by 2 pm or by 8 pm on a given day).
Focus Time, a modified Pomodoro technique for distraction free work

The Pomodoro technique encourages productivity by requiring us to focus on a task for 25 minutes, and then rewarding us with a 5 minute break before the next cycle of work.
When we look at more complex, intellectual or meticulous tasks though, it might be difficult to split work on these into 30-minute chunks. ZEN-it’s Focus Time feature allows you to set the duration that you want for your distraction-free time. And once you’re done, you can head over to the Self-Care suite for a mindful and a calming break!
Task Prioritisation using the Eisenhower Matrix

Do you spend a lot of time setting up your schedule, figuring out which task needs to be completed, when? Does it feel much more of a chore than doing the actual task?
We hear you. ZEN-it uses a modified Eisenhower Matrix method to automatically prioritize your tasks for you. Once you create your tasks, the app sorts them into buckets in our Priority Wizard screen: Now, Today and Later. The highest priority tasks show up in the Now category, and ones that can be handled a little more leisurely, show up in the Later category.
ZEN-it's Care Philosophy
There’s a popular, strong narrative that self-love and self-care mean indulgence, skin-care and some kind of pampering session (think chocolate or a special meal, a face mask). The occasional indulgence or relaxation session is valuable to comfort us and let us unwind, but won’t do enough for us to have a balanced and fulfilled life.
ZEN-it supports a more holistic approach to life, with deeper self-care practices. Self-care is about taking actual care of yourself, like you would help a friend or family member. It involves deep reflection, enhancing self-awareness and acquiring a better equilibrium - all while calming and grounding ourselves. Self-care reaps rewards on an ongoing basis, giving us tools to handle various situations in our lives, to calm and relax our minds, and to acquire a more balanced emotional state.
